If you like to have a drink ever so often, leave your money out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your wallet, and keep all cash, charge cards and chequebooks at home. Pack whatever money you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you intend to throw away and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You can have a win after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to catch a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Hang on to that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. These activities simply do not go well together.
Leaving your moola at home might be a bit excessive, but defensive actions for drastic actions is essential. If you bet to profit, then don’t drink and bet. If you like to blow your money without a worry, then consume all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but do not take credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your inebriated self squanders all the cash!
Permit me to take this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then go on the net to gamble in your preferred online casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my condominium, but since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.
How come? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it is clearly enough to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. The two mix up for a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
