There is an appealing story to the Cambodia casinos that reside just over the dividing line from next door Thailand, in which gambling hall gaming is prohibited. Eight gambling halls are anchored in a generally tiny area in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. The newest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort features 300 slot machine games and 70 tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 one armed bandits and ninety six table games, including eighty seven baccarat chemin de fer (the most dominant game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Also, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five slot machines and 66 of the common gaming tables, as well as a single table of Casino Stud Poker. One more of the 8 gambling dens in Poipet, again in a hotel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slot machine games and ninety seven table games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in a multinational resort and hotel building that highlights many amenities accompanying the gambling hall, which offers ten thousand sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty slots and 88 table games.
