There is an appealing history to the Cambodia gambling dens that reside just over the border from nearby Thailand, in which gambling hall gaming is illegal. Eight casinos are established in a generally tiny location in the municipality of Poipet in Cambodia. The initial Cambodia gambling dens premiered in Phnom Penh in the mid nineties, but were required to close in 1998, leaving just a single gambling hall in the capital, the Naga Resort. Also, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five slots and 66 of the normal gaming tables, as well as one table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the 8 gambling dens in Poipet, again in a hotel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slot machine games and 97 games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in a multinational vacation and hotel complex that contains numerous luxuries accompanying the gambling hall, which provides ten thousand square feet of 130 slots and 88 tables.
